I've been enjoying the Guinness story from late 1800s Ireland. It's Docudrama based on true events. To be fair, I was a bite bored the first 1.5 episodes but it picked up steam. Irish accents always help me keep interest. 🇮🇪
10/10 and I don’t give that rating very often - what an outstanding series!
Task is INTENSE. Definitely has me locked in. The characters are believable and flawed like the rest of us. The stories and sub-plots interconnect in an engaging way. The acting feels real and the pace is relaxed. I think the beginning episodes are more intense and the complexity keeps unwinding. Definitely recommend this series! Nature vs. Nurture Update: Just finished and is definitely one of the top series I've seen in a long time.
@dara @rat and I just finished Alone season 1. Loved it! 10 guys get dropped on Vancouver Island and a forced to survive off the land and endure the elements. Some very likable humans and great learning and insightful moments.
@aaronmuro I agree that justified as the greatest show of all time.
Sorry, I haven’t been on the app in a while—good intentions, poor follow through on my part. Is this how I share that the finale of “Dead to Me” (and the whole series) was so good? Judy is one of my favorite tv characters ever, right up there with Claudia from “Party of Five” and Omar from “The Wire” (deep cuts, I know). I imagine it’s part writing and part acting, but some characters are just magical. I really enjoyed Judy. Is this how to CliqRex? I updated the app and I’m finding my way back into this thing
So, I binged the Hell out of Black Rabbit. For those who would like all of the trappings of Ozark smashed into ONE Season set in the NYC bar/restaurant scene...this show is for you! I really enjoyed it BUT I'm not sure how great it is without the City oggling.
Beautiful, textured scenes and captivating stories unravel generations of rich characters while I deepen my understanding of history. Highly recommended.
S27E1 might go down as a turning point in history. Anxiously waiting for episode 2.
@dara and I are liking the historical fiction.
I'm enjoying watching this with @dara ...and I'm a sucker for shows filmed in Scotland.
The villain in season 3 (The Mule) is pretty brutal. Neat series, though I wonder how much liberty they take from Asimov’s original.
Yellow Jacket season 2 is a bit too dark for my liking. #weakSauce
Just finished Andor Season 2. DAMN --- so good. I think my fav Star Wars Series Perfect lead into Rogue One and A New Hope
What's your MUST WATCH show right now? I recommend The PITT
Watched this with the teens and it was a fun one!
Liked the first season better for sure
What would you recommend to a person who is coming out of almost 10 years of very small children raising and hasn't watched anything in years? But I do remember watching and loving Ozark a lot:)
